Stress reduces our ability to concentrate, integrate and process information; it also reduces our creativity and the mere desire to create. On the other hand, engaging itself into creative activities, regardless their productivity, may help to relieve stress. Relaxation by creative exericses may give us motivation to work on any demanding problems our work may require. What to do however if our work is not creative enough to keep us going? Depression reduces our ability to function normally, but what exactly does it mean? To start with, depressive persons lack motivation which is required for even simpliest tasks we do each day.
